Call for artists from Flagler Habitat for annual birdhouse and mailbox auction

PALM COAST, Fla. - June 29, 2013 - PRLog -- The Flagler Habitat for Humanity is reaching out to all creative and artistic members of our community to create unique and beautiful birdhouses or mailboxes. Artists may be creative as they want with this project, adding special and personal touches. These artistic creations will be auctioned off at Habitat’s Annual Birdhouse and Mailbox Auction to be held, Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the Grand Haven Golf Club. Items must be completed and dropped off at the Habitat office at 2 West Moody Blvd., Bunnell, Fla. no later than August 15 to be included in the auction. A participant form must also be completed and may be downloaded at their website at www.flaglerhabitat.com or contact the office at 386-586-6180 or email volunteer@flaglerhabitat.com

This is a major fundraising event for Flagler Habitat and all proceeds will benefit their mission to eliminate sub-standard housing from our community and around the world, one house, and one nail at a time. This is a great way for our local artists and craft enthusiasts to not only express creativity, but also to give their artistic ability exposure while giving back to our community.
