King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre managed by Hilton Marks International Autistic Pride Day

AMMAN, Jordan - June 29, 2013 - PRLog -- In support of children with autism, staff at King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre managed by Hilton (“KHBTCC”) recently celebrated International Autistic Pride Day with a comprehensive awareness and learning day at Jordan Specialized Centre for Autism, based in Amman.

Ten team members from Jordan’s biggest Convention Centre enjoyed a knowledge building early session at the Centre followed by a meet and greet conducted tour of the facilities, hosted by the Centre’s Principal Ala’a Saadieh.  The exercise was arranged as part of KHTBCC’s team member community involvement programme, managed by the Centre’s Blue Energy committee, which celebrates the company’s values by engaging in activities that enrich and help their local communities.

Ala’a Saadieh, principal, Jordan Specialized Centre for Autism said, “We were delighted to welcome the Hilton team members to our Centre and I am very pleased they took the time to meet and chat with our students.  It’s important for us to broaden awareness of autism and encourage organizations to see first hand the vital work we do here.”

As part of their interactive session with students, team members distributed educational toys designed to support the development process and improve learning capabilities.
