Local Believers and National Ministry Plan Devils Lake Region Outreach and Celebration

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. - July 1, 2013 - PRLog -- LOCAL BELIEVERS AND NATIONAL MINISTRY PLAN DEVILS LAKE REGION OUTREACH

reviveDEVILS LAKE is “Calling together our friends and neighbors...Rejoicing in the Truth of Jesus Christ” (Luke 15: 1-7)

Dallas, TX, June 25, 2013 – In two weeks, (July 8 - 14) volunteers from across the nation will gather in Devils Lake, ND to reach the region with the message and love of Jesus.  Originally launched by Dallas-based Time to Revive (www.timetorevive.com), reviveDEVILS LAKE is a non-denominational partnership effort with fourteen local churches, their congregations and over 100 out-of-town believers from 8 states.  The outreach seeks to unite the church in the Spirit Lake Region and encourage believers to share their faith in order to seek revival in North Dakota and the Nation.  reviveDEVILS LAKE is Time to Revive’s seventh citywide outreach in an effort to cover all fifty states with the message of Christ: Dallas Revival, REVIVE Santa Fe (NM), Awaken the Valley (Sedona, AZ), reviveFLINT (MI), reviveASHEVILLE (NC), and reviveSEATTLE (WA).

The vision for reviveDEVILS LAKE began in September 2012 when Vanessa Weber, a family member of Kyle Lance Martin, Executive Director of Time to Revive views a video (http://vimeo.com/46111203) produced by Dallas Theological Seminary (http://www.dts.edu/) about the ministry.  Vanessa then shared that video with her Pastor, Bruce Dick of Bethel Evangelical Free Church (http://www.bethelfree.com/) in Devils Lake, North Dakota.  After receiving an invitation letter from Pastor Bruce, our team traveled to Devils Lake, ND for our first scouting trip, which then turned into many prep trips up until our 7 days of prayer in January 2013.  At that time the Lord revealed that we were coming in for the purpose of “Calling together our friends and neighbors...Rejoicing in the Truth of Jesus Christ” (Luke 15: 1-7).

For the seven days of reviveDEVILS LAKE, volunteers will reach out to the community through conversation in the mornings and afternoons.  (Day 1 - Devils Lake, Day 2 - Maddock, Day 3 - Michigan, Day 4 - Munich, Day 5 - McVilee, Day 6 - Bisbee, Day 7 - Creel and all the surrounding areas around and in between!)

Each day starts at 9:00 a.m. and opens with prayer at different park throughout the region.  It is free for everyone.  We do ask that you RSVP for the outreach at reviveDEVILSLAKE.org by clicking “Join the Team”!  Daily outreaches will be in each region and will start at 11:00 a.m. and continue through supper time at 5:30 p.m.  At 6:00 p.m. Kids Beach Club (http://www.kidsbeachclub.org/) will begin kid specific activities, along with other games and fun things for the whole family.  Then at 7:30 p.m. each evening we will have worship services.  See website for daily schedule and locations.  Bill Glass Champions for Life (http://www.billglass.org/) will also host outreaches on Tuesday and Thursday of that week, focusing on the Ramsey County Correctional Facility (http://www.co.ramsey.mn.us/cc/correctional_facility.htm) and the Fort Totten Bureau of Indian Affairs (http://www.bia.gov/WhoWeAre/RegionalOffices/GreatPlains/WeAre/Agencies/FortTotten/index.htm).  Each day our volunteers will be served lunch and dinner by the Texas Baptist Men’s (https://www.texasbaptistmen.org/) teams.  Founder and CEO, Kyle Lance Martin says the event is intended to spur on the church in the Spirit Lake Region and beyond, to prepare the nation for the return of Christ.

Texas Baptist Men trains volunteers and coordinates efforts in providing prompt assistance to disaster victims. Texas Baptist Men has been involved in Disaster Relief in Texas and around the world since 1967. Kids Beach Club - KiDs Beach Club® desires to provide every 3rd - 6th grade boy and girl with a Jesus experience within the culture of his or her public elementary school.  KiDs Beach Club® is an innovative ministry established to mobilize the Church to go outside its walls to do a Beach Club in order to take the message of Christ into the heart of their community. Over the last 35+ years, God has used Bill and Champions for Life ministries to share Christ in thousands of towns, cities, churches, prisons, jails and youth facilities across the United States and several foreign countries.
