State Bar of Arizona Elects Snell & Wilmer Attorney Jeffrey Willis to Board of Governors

TUCSON, Ariz. - June 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Willis, a partner in the Tucson office, has been elected to the State Bar of Arizona Board of Governors for bar district five, Pima and Santa Cruz Counties.

Comprised of 30 people, the Board of Governors oversees the policy making and operation of the State Bar of Arizona. The state is divided into eight bar districts with the number of board members per district determined by the Arizona Supreme Court. Willis is one of three members for district five. Elected members serve a three-year term.

The State Bar of Arizona is a non-profit organization that operates under the supervision of the Arizona Supreme Court. The Bar regulates approximately 17,300 active attorneys in Arizona and provides education and development programs for the legal profession and the public. The Bar and its members are committed to serving the public by making sure the voices of all people in Arizona are heard in our justice system.

Willis is a seasoned trial lawyer with a regional commercial litigation practice.
