Jerry Haan Joins Down Payment Resource Leadership Team

ATLANTA - June 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Atlanta-based Down Payment Resource announced today that Jerry Haan will join its business development team as an independent consultant working with Multiple Listing Services (MLS) across the country. In 2008, the entrepreneurial company developed the first web-based tool to connect eligible homebuyers and eligible for-sale properties with down payment assistance programs. Down Payment Resource provides information about down payment assistance, affordable mortgages, and rehab loans during the home search process, helping uncover options that may make buying a home more affordable.

Haan began his career in real estate more than 20 years ago. With a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Michigan State University, his first focus was in the technical arena as the Vice President of Product Development and Implementation at BORIS Systems.  

After encouragement from others to work in sales and business development, he made the leap 15 years ago and has enjoyed working with MLSs across the country to deliver mission critical and well received products to their membership. Most recently he served as Vice President of MLS Sales for Listingbook where he was instrumental in growing the company’s market share.
