FIT-OUT PROJECT FOR JOE’S CRAB SHACK IN NEWARK, NJ

PARSIPPANY, NJ
– June 27, 2013 – Hollister Construction Services (http://www.hollistercs.com/) (Hollister), a leading full-service construction manager specializing in corporate, educational, healthcare, industrial, retail, and residential construction, has begun work on the interior fit-out construction of a new Joe’s Crab Shack restaurant, located inside the recently opened Courtyard Newark Downtown hotel at 858 Broad Street in Newark, NJ. Hollister previously completed the ground-up construction for another Joe's Crab Shack restaurant in Clifton, NJ in 2011.

The 5,333-square-foot restaurant in Newark is the newest addition to the seafood chain, which is owned by the Houston-based Ignite Restaurant Group. Featuring a variety of different finishes installed by Hollister as well as the chain’s signature crab murals, the restaurant will hold 36 picnic style, booth and four-top tables, while the bar will contain 12 seats. Joe's Crab Shack serves buckets of crab and a wide variety of steampots, fish, shrimp, burgers, chicken and festive drinks in a family-friendly atmosphere.

“Newark is being revitalized with the opening of great new restaurants like Joe’s Crab Shack and Hollister is proud to a part of this movement,” said Kieran Flanagan, President and Project Executive. “We have a great working relationship with the City of Newark and this project demonstrates what we offer both our clients and the broader community.”

Hollister’s recent completed projects in Newark include the first of three separate residential buildings that the company is constructing in Teachers Village, a revitalization project to transform the city’s downtown; a 180,000-square-foot, temperature-controlled facility at 52-62 Cornelia Street in Newark’s East Ward, which serves as a distribution center for Wakefern Food Corp.; Damascus Bakeries’ new 72,000-square-foot bakery facility at 60 McClellan Street; Newark Collegiate Academy, a 63,855-square-foot charter high school located at 18-36 Norfolk Street; and the Scott Flamm Center For Afterschool Development, a comprehensive renovation of the headquarters of the All Stars Project at 33 Washington Street.

Other recent projects include the construction and interior fit-out of Pinnacle Foods Group's newly opened headquarters at 399 Jefferson Road in Parsippany, NJ, which was selected as one of the winners of Inc. Magazine's 2012 "World's Coolest Offices" contest.
