Special features ensure this camera works in difficult conditions. The Adaptive Noise Reduction utilizes a noise reduction algorithm that allows the camera to choose between current pixel values and a percentage of previous pixel values.  The idea is that any large pixel changes between successive frames indicates motion, all other smaller changes are do to noise in the current frame.  This recursive action effectively reduces noise while preserving the output image content by masking small changes but preserving large pixel changes.  The ANR is very flexible & can be used in a number of auto mode configurations.

Adaptive Image Enhancement  provides high precision, discrete correction of images in real time by rapidly analyzes input images, dividing the images into areas using unique algorithms, extracting the optimum brightness and colour correction parameters for each area, all done in real time high speed image correction. The brightness  of dark and the bright areas are adjusted proportionally, resulting in visibility similar to that of the human eye.

Adaptive Fog Reduction provides real-time image correction for improved visibility in dark, harshly backlit, or unclear/foggy environments, while optimized computational algorithms enable frame rates up to 30 fps. Through use of this technology the camera is capable of adjusting the contrast ratio of images that become pale due to foggy conditions and restoring the fading colours resulting in dramatic improvement in visibility.
