Voice Comms Warehouse has announced the appointment of Simon Jackson to the newly-created role of Commercial Director which will see him take day-to-day responsibility of the firm's sales function.

A seasoned professional with over 25 years experience in the Data Communications industry.  Simon has worked with many leading vendors holding both technical and commercial leadership roles for both the UK and EMEA. Previously he worked at Websense, Bluecoat and Packeteer as Director of Sales Engineering for EMEA managing international teams of Sales Engineers.

Simon joins VCW with a deep interest and knowledge of data and web security as well as WAN optimisation and application delivery, knowledge of which are essential when seeking to understand the challenges faced by data technologists on a day-to-day basis. Having worked in roles that varied from a tool carrying System's Engineer’s in a UK start up to that of Sales Vice President for EMEA     this depth of experience has given him an insight into the UK that he can bring to VCW partners and colleagues alike.
