Lonsdale's Beach Body Boxing Blitz

The summer’s almost here! With the countdown on for us to bare all on the beach, now is the time to start shaping up.
 
June 26, 2013 - PRLog -- While most of us dread the thought of getting into our bikinis and trunks, iconic British brand Lonsdale has put together some top tips and a fighting fit workout to get your body beach ready!

-Sprints.  This can be on a running machine or outdoors.  Warm up with a gentle jog for 5 minutes then sprint for 20 seconds / rest for 10 seconds.  Repeat 10 times.

-Punch a bag or workout with a partner and punch pads.  Punch continuously for 20 seconds / rest for 10 seconds.  Repeat 10 times.

-Press ups -- 20 seconds / rest 10 seconds.  Repeat 10 times.

-Skipping -- 30 seconds / speed skipping / 10 seconds rest.  Repeat 5 times.

- Squat thrusts -- 20 seconds / rest 10 seconds.  Repeat 10 times.

-Back to punching.  Continuous jabs for 20 seconds / 10 second rest.  Again, repeat 10 times.

-Opposite elbow to opposite knee, bicycle sit ups.  20 seconds / rest 10.  Repeat 5-10 times.

-Plank -- Hold for 20 seconds / rest 10 seconds.  Repeat up to 10 times.
