Elite Social Club JETLAG to Feature Daniel Sudar and Academy of Friends

SAN FRANCISCO - June 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Trendy Lime’s (www.trendylime.com) signature social networking event JETLAG is getting ready to touch down in San Francisco once again. Hosted in cooperation with Michael Nader, our previous JETLAG invitation only events have drawn in hundreds of young, influential, and sublimely fashionable professionals from around the world. The upcoming JETLAG 26 is poised to be our most sophisticated event yet.

JETLAG is an exclusive social club that brings together business trendsetters and social influencers from around the world. For the second time in a row, JETLAG will set up shop at the Clift Hotel, one of San Francisco’s most upscale venues.

As with all of our events, fashion will play a key role in the JETLAG program. For this year’s event, we’ve partnered with Daniel Sudar, a premier American designer. The SUDAR collection offers mod, sleek and chic clothing and accessories for both men and women. Focused on experimental, ambitious, future-leaning clothing and jewelry, the label is inspired by a mixture of rich and luxurious cultural references. With unique designs and shapes and a meticulous attention to detail, SUDAR has positioned himself as a fashion visionary with an eye on the future.

SUDAR will also use JETLAG to unveil his new underwear collection, "SENSUAL.” The inspiration for the SENSUAL line comes from the designer’s day-to-day activities, and through that, the collection remains true to the fundamental of the SUDAR brand. This collection is luxurious sexy and evocative while still being completely wearable and offering comfort and support. With styles designed for both men and women, the undergarments are manufactured with quality fabric and made from hand cut, intricately hand-sewn silk, cotton, and cotton blend. Each piece in this collection is a testament to the SUDAR customer, who is mod, sleek and chic, individualistic and smart, with a zest for life, a love for fashion and a strong sense of self.  

SUDAR’s work has been featured in People, Harper’s Bazaar, Advocate, SOMA, and Gentry magazine, the Chicago Now and SF Chronicle newspapers, and on television stations such as BRAVO, NBC, FOX and KRON 4. He has designed for James Franco, Art Smith, the 49ers, NY jets, Daniel Bedingfield, Delon, Bill Dorfman, and many others.  Early last year SUDAR won a Jean Paul Gaultier contest, with which he got to show his collection at De Young Museum.  Currently SUDAR is designing costumes for a featured film called MAHJONG, based on a true story about an Asian gangster that settled in San Francisco in 1960.

JETLAG gives back to the community. JETLAG also gives guests the opportunity to support a good cause, raising money and awareness for Academy of Friends (http://academyoffriends.org), an organization that raises money for direct care services and educational programs for people with and at risk of acquiring HIV/AIDS.  Academy of Friends has raised millions of dollars for HIV/AIDS Services since 1980 and committed to continue this fight as long as there is a need.

JETLAG event will also feature travel info, music, a photo booth, and plenty of time to mingle.
