PRLog - June 25, 2013 - ST. LOUIS -- Overland, Missouri… The Glory Pickers, a popular old-time gospel bluegrass music group, will perform a free show open to the public at The Overland Farmers Market in the City of Overland on Saturday, July 13, from 10 am to noon.

“We are extremely pleased to showcase a free concert by The Glory Pickers because the group is so popular with all kinds of audiences,” said Richard A. Kilzer, president of the Overland Farmers Market Board of Directors.
The Glory Pickers are well-known for their appearances at many churches and church events in Missouri and southwestern Illinois. Admission to The Overland Farmers Market is free. The Glory Pickers will perform its upbeat blend of Christian and bluegrass music at The Overland Farmers Market at 2512 Woodson Road in the City of Overland about one mile north of Page Boulevard in St. Louis County.
The Overland Farmers Market attracts people seeking locally grown vegetables, fresh fruit and other produce, grass-fed beef, plus arts, crafts, jewelry and consumer goods. The Overland Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., weather permitting, and will continue operating this year until late October.
“We welcome local growers and farmers,” said Mr. Kilzer. “The majority of our vendors are local producers of fruits, vegetables, beef other edible products and garden plants, in addition to people who offer arts and crafts and other consumer goods for sale after being approved by our Management Committee.”
