ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - June 25, 2013 - PRLog -- The House of Music & Entertainment is well known in the northwest suburbs for its incredible live music, late-night DJ sets, premium sports bar, and extensive craft beer selection. But the House of Music & Entertainment is also home to one of Arlington Height’s best-kept secrets: chef Anthony Sabella. His unique twist on classic American bar food makes H.O.M.E. a truly one-of-a-kind destination in the Arlington Heights area, with plenty of familiar favorites to try alongside some great H.O.M.E. originals.

One of the many great dishes that makes H.O.M.E.’s menu truly unique is the A.P.S. Grilled Cheese sandwich – and it was a hit with The Chicago Traveler’s Allyn Hane. It features basic ingredients like cheese, tomato spread, and bacon, so at first the A.P.S. might seem like any other grilled cheese sandwich – but the details combine to create a remarkable combination of tastes and textures that guests at H.O.M.E. won’t soon forget. The A.P.S. Grilled Cheese features cheddar, American, and mozzarella cheese, topped with applewood-smoked bacon and melted on top of thick Greek-style toast. The secret ingredient, however, is the tomato jam. This singular concoction features tomatoes, jalapeño peppers, cumin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves to give this classic sandwich a sweet and spicy kick.

Another dish you’ll find at H.O.M.E. that you won’t find anywhere else is the H.O.M.E. Roll. Allyn tried the Arizona H.O.M.E. Roll, which features grilled steak, French fries, pico de gallo sauce, and a delicious blend of cheeses. All those ingredients are wrapped in a tortilla, then deep-fried and finished with a buffalo sauce for a suitably Southwestern kick.

The final course of the afternoon was an item off of the H.O.M.E. late-night menu, which you’ll find if you stop by after 10. The Pizza Bella features an oblong crust topped with fresh tomato sauce, Italian sausage, grilled onions, giardiniera, hot capicolla sausage, and plenty of cheese.
