Rundgren Radio Exceeds A Million Online Listens From Todd Rundgren And Music Fans

June 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Rundgren Radio is an online talk radio show for Todd Rundgren fans that aired weekly for 4 years from 2007-2011 and still airs occasionally for special edition shows. The shows recently exceeded one million listens on Blog Talk Radio.  The two hosts, fans Doug and Melinda, also promote Todd Rundgren concerts using the Rundgren Radio name or RundgrenRadio.com.

Most of the Rundgren Radio online radio shows include a guest that the hosts interview for a while and then let fans call in to ask questions.  All of their guests have some type of connection with Todd like performing on one of his albums or having one of their albums produced by Todd.  Some of the past guests include John Oates, Andy Partridge, Roy Firestone, Denny Laine, David Sanborn, Lenny Kaye, Rick Derringer, Greg Hawkes, Stewkey Antoni of Nazz, all of the members of Utopia, and more.   Rundgren Radio is not officially affiliated with Todd Rundgren but Todd and Michele Rundgren have been guests on several RR shows.

The next Todd concert being promoted by Rundgren Radio will be his only symphonic show in the USA this year.  The concert is being held in Akron, OH on August 31st at the Akron Civic Theatre and Todd will be accompanied by the Akron Symphony Orchestra and Akron Youth Symphony as well as special guests Mary Lou Arnold, John Ferenzik, Jesse Gress, Prairie Prince, Michele Rundgren, and Kasim Sulton.  Rundgren will be performing several songs in Akron that he's never performed live in the USA.
