mContrast Media announces Launch of mContrast.com for Men in the Prime of Life

CONCORD, N.H. - June 24, 2013 - PRLog -- mContrast Media today announced the launch of its new web property at mContrast.com. This decidedly unique site targets men between the ages of 35 and 50, offering original content about lifestyle, fashion, health and finance, with a perspective for men in the midlife demographic.

Historically, media outlets have offered abundant content for women in this age range, but information for men has been scarce. Media outlets that do cater to men have preferred to focus on the 20-to-35 age bracket. However, as men reach middle age, new issues and concerns emerge, specific to this period of their lives. Foremost, men in this group need to grapple with issues related to evolving lifestyle, health, family, career and money matters. mContrast.com aims to provide features and content that addresses the needs of this group.

Jeff Allan, a business developer from the tech sector, is the person behind mContrast. Allan states that the idea for mContrast emerged at around the same time he turned 40. “I started to have a lot of questions about what to expect as I entered middle age. The more I looked for answers, I was really surprised by the lack of information out there for men my age,” he said. A frequent contributor to business and technology publications, Allan started to float the idea around with some associates in the editorial world. His concept got an encouraging reception, so Allan started development on the site in the second quarter of 2013. mContrast.com then soft-launched in mid-June. “At this point, my focus is creating quality content to fill the void that exists in this space. I have a sincere passion to help men like me answer some of the most challenging questions they have about being middle age,” Allan added.

Allan expects mContrast’s primary readership to be men in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. So far, early analytics data backs these assumptions. Plans include expanding mContrast to new markets through alternate language editions starting with Japanese and Chinese in 2014.
