The other three cases Cicchiello & Cicchiello, LLP recently were related to employment law. One case involved pregnancy discrimination, with the law firm’s client being terminated from her job just weeks after returning from maternity leave. She ended up receiving a settlement of $135,000. In an age discrimination case, an employee who had been working for the same company for 26 years was terminated for suspicious reasons, despite the fact that the individual had no discipline history. This case resulted in the employee receiving $130,000 in compensation. In a sexual harassment case, Cicchiello & Cicchiello, LLP’s legal team was able to secure $115,000 in compensation for an employee who had been quickly terminated after refusing sexual advances, which were made by the president of the company that the individual worked for.
