Laura Patterson Joins LifeWork Search to Launch Their New Risk / Compliance / Fraud Recruiting Desk

Patterson joined the team in late 2012 as an Executive Recruiter rookie to develop a desk wholly dedicated to recruiting for Compliance/Risk/Fraud/Operations positions in and around Payments and Retail Technology. She has been working these past months to create her own niche and has been steadily building her network of Compliance/Risk professionals. Recently, she shed her rookie status and has been working with several high profile clients.

Patterson attended Bauder College and the University of Wisconsin and studied Merchandising and Business Administration. Her Merchant Services career started in 2002 with American Express, focusing on the acquirer side of the business. Her most recent position was with Bank of America Merchant Services. Working in the industry, she gained not only market experience and working knowledge of the Payments industry, but knowledge of customer needs analysis and increasing profitability.

Now, Patterson is excited to help professionals in her space in a whole new way through recruiting and executive search. With fifteen years of experience in technical sales and account cultivation, she has an understanding of the space from both the client and candidate perspectives. Her large network in the financial services space has allowed her to penetrate the hierarchies of successful companies and talk to real decision makers. Leveraging her background, she has already made some great matches for candidates and clients.
