‘I know what my tour guests like, especially with so many being repeat tour guests and one of those things is being in smaller groups.  It’s a hard thing for me to do oftentimes as I get more wanting to come than I have space for but once the tour is filled, I am afraid that is it.” says Dawson who since 1998 has been creating very special tours focused on what she loves best and loves to share…gardens.

“It keeps me on my toes as I have to always be on the prowl for new destinations and then when I find them, my joy and excitement begins as I put a tour together to share with other like minded lovers of visiting gardens around the world.  The focus is always on gardens but there is much more to a country than just the gardens.  The history, culture, food and people also must be experienced.   I put so much time and planning into each one that I am just very thankful I get to go on them all, I would have a hard time choosing” she says.

Featured tours for 2014 are India (and the private gardens at the Presidential Palace), Israel (and the hanging gardens at Haifa), Turkey (at Tulip Festival Time), Chelsea London (the Chelsea Flower Show and so much more!), Bulgaria (during Rosa x damascene blooming), Ireland (to coincide with the World Association of Flower Arrangers Show), and last but not least is the Tour to South Africa (the last tour in 2012 filled within a month) with at least three safaris as well.
