Local NAACP Branch Sponsors Community Housing Innovations’ First-Time Home Buyers Housing Forum

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. - June 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Community Housing Innovations, Inc. (http://chigrants.org/) (CHI) has announced that the organization is hosting a “First Time Home Buyers Housing Forum,” which is being sponsored by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Mount Vernon Branch 2161. The forum will take place on June 26 from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Public Library, located at 28 South First Avenue in Mount Vernon, inside the Community Room at the South Second Avenue entrance.
The event will be facilitated by Juan Santana, CHI’s Senior Manager of Homeownership Counseling. Those in attendance will learn what they need to know before buying a house. Onsite mortgage counseling and credit reviews will also be available. Qualified applicants who are interested in purchasing a home in Westchester may be eligible for up to $25,000 in grant assistance.

Admission is free.
