SGS Granted Scope Expansion by IECEE in the Battery Medical and Office Categories

SUWANEE, Ga. - June 24, 2013 - PRLog -- SGS Consumer Testing Services, a division of SGS North America Inc, a leading global provider of verification, testing and certification services, has announced today that the IECEE has expanded the CB Scheme testing scope for the E&E testing laboratory in Suwanee, GA.  Testing and certification services can be performed out of a single centrally located office.

The CB Scheme is intended to reduce obstacles to international trade which arise from having to meet different national certification or approval criteria. This CB Testing Laboratory (CBTL) scope expansion will allow SGS to be a full service provider to manufacturers and suppliers seeking entry into global markets.  There are currently over 55 participating countries in the IECEE CB Scheme.
