Fashion Week Las Vegas Runway Model Competition 2013

LAS VEGAS - June 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Fashion Week Las Vegas (FWLV) will be held August 17-23, 2013 consisting of private events and runway shows. Coverage from the Runway will be made available nightly on www.fwlv.tv , along with several international platforms, including coverage by Australia’s  The Fashion Channel (http://www.thefashionchannel.com.au/) and other Global Media Partners, Shimmer Magazine, Essere Magazine, Vedere Magazine.

The Runway Model Competition will take place during FWLV Season 3, August 17th – 23rd.  The panel of 7 judges will possess backgrounds in the Fashion Industry and will be announced July 2013.  There will be 30 Qualified, unsigned models to make up this year’s FWLV Emerging Runway Model contestants: 15 male, 15 female models will compete for the title of 2013 FWLV Runway Model. Casting will begin June 29th and run into July 2013, there will be coverage for each casting and footage can be seen on line at www.fwlv.tv  for details check for times and dates online.

Each industry professional judge will judge each pre- qualified model based on their industry professions. One Male winner and One Female Winner will be announced on the last night of Fashion Week.  With prizes consisting of a year contract with major Agency in Las Vegas, and Photo shoots with Fashion Week Las Vegas Sponsors (Boutiques, Restaurants, hair salons, makeup) for potential ad campaigns. The exposure to help launch another modeling career is planned for this years, Editorial Fashion spread with several fashion publications, as well as some great exposure planned with Local News and Radio Station is in the works . The competition will be managed by Fashion Week Runway Director Russel Frank of Las Vegas, NV. The concept of creating relationships with Las Vegas businesses to support the talents of these runway models is one of the strategies that Frank has planned for future competitions during FWLV.
