Tel: 352-547-0583 Ocala, Florida - June 20, 2013 The Silver Springs Attraction is dead. One of our most cherished icons has been lost, due to the negligence of sub-standard management companies. Palace Entertainment and Parques Reunidos have failed not only the people of Florida, but millions of potential visitors. The Chairman of Pan Atlantic Enterprises and Consulting Inc., Alexander George, expressed his dismay during one of his recent visits to the park. "The state takeover of this once proud Florida institution breaks my heart. Palace and their people were out to make a quick buck. In the process, they destroyed a giant piece of our history and culture". George has toured the park on over twenty occasions this year. He's spoken with many of the loyal employees who have given their lives to the Silver Springs Attraction. "These loyal people lost their livelihoods. For what? So Palace could make a few bucks?!" Palace Entertainment had a contractual obligation until 2029. "They failed miserably in their stewardship of one of Florida's best institutions. They discarded their obligation as one would a plastic hotel room key" said George. During his last visit, George was accompanied by British journalist Vivian Jones. Jones first visited the park as a teenager in 1996. "Central Florida is losing a gem" said Jones. "This attraction has been the destination of hundreds of thousands of English tourists". George went on to praise the staff of Silver Springs. All are invited to contact Beckie Angela Cooper. "We can help with resume preparation and job placement" said George. "That's the least I can do for my hometown friends". The State of Florida is set to take over the park on September 31, 2013. Nevertheless, most rides have been shut down to make room for "renovation" End
