Bet Pavilion And Centric Pavilion To Highlight Bet Experience In Downtown Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES - June 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Downtown Los Angeles will be the place to see and be seen the weekend of June 28-29 as the BET Experience takes over LA Live and surrounding areas. For those that can’t attend the A-List performances at the Staples Center and Club Nokia or won’t be attending the BET Awards, this one of a kind free Fan Festival will allow fans to get up close to their favorite BET shows and talent.

The highlight of the BET Experience will be the BET and Centric Pavilions being produced by Kimberly Seeherman and her team at Events By Fabulous. The tents will have live performances by some of soul music's hottest artists. Fans will be able to relax and recharge while learning how to stay fit at the health & wellness booth, snag some fun giveaways & swag and even meet some of your favorite BET and Centric talent.

Guest of the BET and Centric Pavilions will be entertained by such acts as Earth, Wind And Fire, Brian McKnight and Bell Biv Devoe. They will also be able to mingle with talent from their favorite shows including Jackee Harry (First Family), Jay Ellis (The Game), Barry T. Floyd (The Game), Nadine Ellis (Let’s Stay Together), Latoya Luckett (Culturelist) and many more.

After taking in all of the exciting entertainment, fans will be able to relax in Centric’s Strive to Thrive Wellness Zone. Events By Fabulous has designed a spa-like zone with reclining chairs, a massage station, and consultation tables. On Friday, June 28, Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker will host a special session which will deliver an integrative health and wellness message inspiring people of color to make positive life changes to lead a healthy lifestyle.

The BET Experience Fan Fest will be an interactive expo that invites guests to engage with their favorite BET shows, talent and their favorite brands through exhibits, demonstrations and giveaways.  The Fan Fest includes a BET pavilion; a diverse food experience with soul food and other regional cuisines; Wolfgang Puck stations and a culinary stage; plus a community and exhibitor village.
