June 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Notre Dame College, a private, liberal arts college in Great Cleveland, shares an article on the recent reform of Ohio's special education system.

NDC released an article today titled, "Ohio’s Special Education Reform," which you can find here: http://online.notredamecollege.edu/masters-education-degree/ohio-special-education-reform/

"According to the 2011 Ohio Special Education Profile compiled by the Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities (OCECD), 98 percent of the nation’s school district report special education teacher shortages. Since the 1990s, more than 30,000 special education positions in the U.S. have been filled by uncertified personnel each year," states NDC.

About NDC:

Notre Dame College sits on 53 picturesque wooded acres, tucked away in a quiet suburban neighborhood just outside of Cleveland, Ohio – the only small liberal arts college in Greater Cleveland. We value the low student-faculty ratio that fosters a warm personal atmosphere and the individual attention that contributes to success.
