NORWELL, Mass. - June 17, 2013 - PRLog -- The staff from Acella Construction Corporation (www.acellaconstruction.com), a leader in construction services to the educational, corporate and institutional markets since 2003, recently volunteered part of their weekend time to clean out the future Hospice Residence at Turkey Hill.

The entire staff spent a day volunteering their time on the project as part of their celebration of the company’s 10 year anniversary. Acella Construction is currently renovating the facility for NVNA and Hospice as part of its collaboration with Campus of Caring to bring this much needed residence to the community.

“I am proud to say that we had 100 percent participation in our volunteer day project at the Hospice Residence,” said Dave Dirubbo, President of Acella Construction Corporation. “This is a beautiful property and we know the community will appreciate the hard work, dedication and commitment that Campus of Caring and  NVNA and Hospice have shown in leading the project to become a reality. It is rewarding to be a partner in such a needed project for the South Shore.”

About NVNA and Hospice and Campus of Caring

In a partnership that reflects their shared mission to bring the first non-profit hospice residence to the South Shore, Campus of Caring and Norwell VNA (NVNA) and Hospice are utilizing the resources of both organizations to raise the capital funds necessary to offset the purchase and renovation costs of the Hingham property that will become the new hospice residence.  Located on Turkey Hill adjacent to the Weir River Farm, the hospice residence will provide a much needed home for people under hospice care who can no longer stay in their own home. No such residence exists for South Shore residents; of the nine hospice homes in the state, the closest are in Needham and on Cape Cod.
