Illinois School Nutrition Professionals Hold Their Annual Conference at the Tinley Park Convention Center June 26-28, 2013
 
LANSING, Ill. - June 17, 2013 - PRLog -- The Illinois School Nutrition Association (ILSNA) will hold the 63rd Annual Conference June 26-28, 2013, at the Tinley Park Convention Center in Tinley Park, Ill. The three-day event focuses on education, industry exhibits and networking for school nutrition professionals from around Illinois.

“The ILSNA Conference Committee and Chair Roxanne Ramage worked very hard to make this conference educational and engaging for school nutrition professionals,” said ILSNA President Francesca Canzoneri. “Attendees will ‘Rise and Shine’ at this year’s conference with three days of excellent educational sessions, networking opportunities and culinary demonstrations  focused on key professional development areas like operations, nutrition, administration and communications/marketing.”

Daily keynote speakers include:

• Mark Haller, Division Administrator, Nutrition Programs & Education Services, Illinois State Board of Education, will give an overview of the programs at the Illinois State Board of Education.
• Motivational speaker Jeff Joiner, Owner, Joiner Enterprises, will help attendee identify ways to adapt to the changes happening throughout the school nutrition industry.
• Allen Klein, “Mr. Jollytologist,” will use laughter and playful exercises to teach techniques to help handle all of life’s not-so-funny stuff.

The conference begins Wednesday afternoon with educational sessions and a good ole’ fashioned “down on the farm” country dinner and dance. Thursday will start with educational sessions followed by the industry exhibits with culinary demonstrations. The installation dinner banquet with entertainment will follow that evening. Friday starts off with the ILSNA Business Meeting with educational sessions to follow before wrapping up with the farewell luncheon.
