Author Dianna Hobbs Returns To Purity Event That Inspired Her Book ‘The New A-list’

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - June 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Hearing statistics like, “80 percent of unmarried evangelicals 18 to 29 said they have had sex,” according to The National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, gives off the impression that virtually everyone is doing it. But Abstinence Advocate, Dianna Hobbs, author of The New A-list: Abstinence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder (July 29, 2013/ISBN 978-0-615-83176-3, $15.99, NyreePress), begs to differ.

“In my travels, I get to meet plenty youth and adults committed to waiting. Believe me. They are out here,” said the award-winning urban faith-based media specialist. According to Hobbs, she met a number of them in 2012, at an annual purity event in South Carolina. So impactful were her workshops and keynote address, Hobbs has been invited to return to this year’s event, held June 21-22 at Foster’s Grove Baptist Church, 899 Foster’s Grove Road, Chesnee, SC.
