Our story begins as we hear music of composer Stephen Sea with the prelude, "Icari Somnium" The screen is black with images of our mother earth. As our narration begins, so does our wonderful, extraordinary trip - This is AERIAL Los Angeles - Architectural Giants! Welcome To Los Angeles! These spectacular arrays of high definition aerials are breathtaking. This brilliant trailer clearly shows the ability and skill of aerial cinematographer, Louis Halcyon Simmons. Architectural Giants are a dynamic collection of architecture giants shot from above of advance cities of the United States, Los Angeles.

Our journey starts from the famous skyline of downtown Los Angeles. These images are truly stunning & amazing scored by main score composer Glen Cheney with "November".   This eight-minute, thirty second documentary feature short will allow you to see just a hint of what is to come from the feature AERIAL Los Angeles. Director of Photography, Louis Halcyon Simmons is able to capture just the right angles of these architectural wonders from high above and let his audience view these truly amazing sights. AERIAL Los Angeles puts you in the world of giants as you see such astonishing sites as the Wells Fargo Plaza, City Hall, and the US Bank One Tower just to name a few.

Landing his latest credit earlier this quarter, aerial cinematographer Louis Halcyon Simmons' credit list only gets larger with recently sold aerial stock footage to the AME Channel "Fairly Legal" started two years ago and is about a woman, who quit being an attorney at her father's law firm to become a mediator, copes after her father's death on the American Network -  "Fairly Legal".  The show was shortly canceled after season 2.  

Ready to start pre production on his next hd film - AERIAL San Francisco is set to go into production as early as June of 2013 with a launch date to film festivals as early as next year.  This creation has rumored to become a 45 minute feature if Simmons is able to obtain key actors who will have a major playing part of this story.   One music legend on Louis' wish list is Tony Bennett to have narrate and sing to this aerial ballet.

First inspired by the character 'Animal' on Lou Grant, and later on, fine art photographer, Peter Lik, professional photographer Louis Halcyon Simmons first picked up the camera at age 6. From then his eye developed into something amazing with his everlasting visuals that capture life, both past and present.

Louis Simmons’ adventure into both photography and aerial cinematography stemmed from his background in production. While in Los Angeles, Louis’ intentions to pitch his high def motion picture idea called for another means of advertising. After researching various media sources, Louis landed with stock footage agency, Footagebank.com, immediately after graduating film school at The Los Angeles Film School. Along with his many talents, Louis developed a smooth jazz internet radio station called Smooth Jazz Beach Radio, hoping to serve as an advertising medium for his movie short series AERIAL, allowed Louis to discover new and extraordinary ideas for his stock footage library including cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and soon Seattle.
