NJ Company Offers Oil "Tank Location Sweeps" Using Ground Penetrating Radar For $ 299!

Ground Penetrating is highly sensitive with less false positives than old metal detector wand technology. Many oil tank sweeps using "wand" technology miss tanks located under concrete and decks.

NEW JERSEY, N.J. - June 15, 2013 - PRLog -- For a limited time, (until June 30, 2013) Environmental Systems is providing oil tank sweeps for the amount of $ 299 in Monmouth, Ocean & Middlesex Counties. The special price for oil Tank Sweeps in Somerset, Union, Mercer , Atlantic and Burlington Counties will be $ 339.  Metal detectors using wand magnetrometry are not that sensitive and only provide beeps for discovery of  buried metal objects. Environmental Systems, a full service New Jersey Environmental Company, uses high tech Ground Penetrating Radar to identify metal objects using visual recognition of structures with a LCD screen. Less false positives are detected. Oil tanks can be identified down to depth 15 feet and can be found below concrete, metal rebar , asphalt and wood decking. Ground Penetrating radar can positively identify buried underground storage tanks, and tank sweeps using outdated 'wand ' technology will only yield a inconclusive result requiring more additional testing.  Abandoned oil tanks filled with sand and concrete may be missed by tank sweeps using wand technology while wand technology will positively identify this structure.
