Acclaim Legal Services Participates in Bankruptcy Workshop

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - June 14, 2013 - PRLog -- The American Bankruptcy Institute is the largest multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency.  This weekend they host their 20th Annual Central States Bankruptcy Workshop in Traverse City, Michigan.  The purpose of the conference is to educate attorneys on emerging issues and specific areas of the bankruptcy code and practice.

Managing Attorney Christopher Jones is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.  Acclaim Legal Services is committed to continuing legal education and our attorneys routinely participate in educational conferences. Last year when Attorney Jones attended the conference, he sat the exam for Board Certification.  He is recently received his certification.

Christopher W. Jones has specialized in representing debtors in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 consumer bankruptcy cases since 2005 when he joined Acclaim Legal Services. He has also gained experience working on behalf of borrowers in non-bankruptcy contexts such as loan workouts and settlement negotiations. A member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Consumer Bankruptcy Association, Mr. Jones is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He graduated from the Ave Maria School of Law, where he served as a member of the editorial board in the position of executive articles editor for the "Ave Maria Law Review."
