Excursion Outfitters Brand Now Carries Klymit Brand Camping Products

PROVO, Utah - June 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Excursion Outfitters has announced that they will now be carrying Klymit brand hiking products on their newly launched website- http://excursionoutfitters.com. In order to create awareness about Klymit's newly formed partnership with Excursion Outfitters, Klymit will be spotlighting their new dealer on their website, klymit.com, on June 21st. In response to the release of their new product line, Excursion Outfitters will be offering a 10% discount on all Klymit products from June 21st through the 23rd.

Excursion Outfitters is a newly formed company that focuses on lightweight and innovative hiking and camping gear. The company was formed in September of 2012 and now carries 5 different outdoor brands including: Klymit, Mountainsmith, Julbo, Jetboil, and Nikwax. The company is continued to accelerate and plans on supplying several more brands by the end of the year.

Like their sleeping pads, Klymit has integrated Argon Gas in to their vests. This allows the user to fill the jacket with as much gas as they want with no more than a turn of a dial. A regulator which is located inside the left face pocket regulates the thickness of the Jacket by utilizing a Argon gas pressured cartridge. The benefit of the regulator is that the user can release or fill the jacket with gas by twisting the dial on the regulator and thus calibrate the jacket to a specific temperature.

Since the gas is 3X better solution than dead air, the jackets remain relatively thin. Argon gas also retains its thermal properties when wet, meaning that the wearer won’t get cold when submerged under water.
