AmeriBid LLC Launches Caribbean Operations

Carolina, Puerto Rico – June 11, 2013 – AmeriBid LLC (http://www.ameribid.com), the market leader in live and online auctions with a focus on real estate, is expanding internationally with a new real estate auction company, AmeriBid Caribbean LLC.  Based in Carolina, Puerto Rico, Jose Carlos Goyco-Acosta will be the President and a partner in the new firm.

"We are extremely excited to be launching the AmeriBid brand in the Caribbean," reflects Stephen Karbelk, CAI, AARE, Co-Chairman and Founder of AmeriBid LLC.  "We will be bringing a new level of real estate auction services to the Caribbean, that has not been seen before on the island."

Over the past few years, the Puerto Rican economy has struggled with the slow down of the U.S. economy.  As a result, there is a significant amount of distressed debt and real estate that needs to be sold.  "We will focus heavily on expanding the domestic buyer base in Puerto Rico while also bringing investment opportunities in Puerto Rico to U.S. and Latin America-based buyers", further comments Karbelk. "With real estate values rising rapidly in the U.S., it's getting tougher to find great deals. Opportunistic buyers will find Puerto Rico to be the place they can turn to find the best deals in real estate.”

Under the leadership of Mr.Goyco-Acosta, AmeriBid Caribbean LLC will be conducting several, very large real estate auction events throughout the year.  Each auction is expected to have between 150 to 250 residential and commercial properties.  The next auction will be held on September 7th at the Puerto Rico Convention Center.  

"Buyers will be able to bid live at the auction and online during the auction.  We want to give as many buyers as possible the opportunity to bid," notes Mr.Goyco-Acosta. "By reaching the U.S. markets by leveraging the extensive AmeriBid buyer database, we expect to increase the amount of foreign investment in Puerto Rico."    

In addition to large auction events, AmeriBid Caribbean LLC will be introducing other auction services in Puerto Rico, including bankruptcy auctions, short-sale auctions and high-end individual property auctions.  "AmeriBid Caribbean LLC will be a full-service real estate auction company publishing all property information and conducting all of our auctions in both English and Spanish," states Mr. Goyco-Acosta.  "Everyone is welcome to bid at our auctions."
