PALM COAST, Fla. - June 14, 2013 - PRLog -- Flagler Habitat for Humanity will be hosting a home dedication for the Spence Family Home on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. The home is located at 8 Squirrel Place, Palm Coast. For more information or directions, contact the Habitat office at (386) 586-6180. The house was sponsored by the generosity of the Hammock Dunes Club. This house marks the 80th home that Flagler Habitat has built since its inception in 1992.

Tony Spence and her two boys, Carlos and Cayden, are very excited. Ms. Spence says, “Habitat taught me with hard work and dedication, I can succeed in anything. With the help from Habitat I’m able to provide a nice and stable home for myself and my family.”

Lindsay Elliott, Executive Director of Flagler Habitat, adds, “It is so exciting to be a part of a movement that makes such a positive impact in the lives of people in our community and around the world. Our partner families work hard for their home, putting in a minimum of 250 hours of “Sweat Equity” and homeowner education classes. Our homeowners purchase their homes at full price for a 0% interest mortgage. We are proud of the homes we build and having the opportunity to create the ‘American Dream’ of home ownership for a family in need.”

As always, the public is welcome to join in the celebration and wish the new homeowners well.
