ORA: A Special Presentation by Espresso Manifesto Arts Collective @The Bata Shoe Museum, Tuesday, J

The Espresso Manifesto Arts Collective (EMAC) proudly presents a one-of-a-kind event called ORA, (an Italian word meaning NOW), as part of the National Congress of Italian-Canadians Italian Heritage Month festivities.

TORONTO - June 13, 2013 - PRLog -- On Tuesday, June 25th, this first-time initiative founded by Canadian-Italian musician Daniela Nardi and Italian born Canadian journalist/broadcaster/writer Daniela Sanzone, will be held at the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto. EMAC is both a social movement and a celebration of the arts with the goal to nurture dialogue between communities and generations. The night will feature exciting musical performances by Daniela Nardi’s Espresso Manifesto with special guest, the utterly unique and effervescent Peppe Voltarelli from Italy.

The time is ripe and the time is NOW for this exciting new arts collective to expand on the work that co-founder Daniela Nardi's Espresso Manifesto musical venture has begun. Along with Daniela Sanzone, they are making it their mission to raise the profile of Italian culture into the 21st century. This extraordinary event opens with a classic Italian aperitivo – light food and drinks -  followed by a Speakers Circle in a lively discussion of Canadian-Italian Culture and what the community is doing to include all generations and help it evolve to bridge any gaps with the mainstream. The debate will be moderated by Daniela Sanzone and speakers include a cross section of artists, broadcasters, professors, developers, and writers including Antonio Nicaso (writer), Daniela Nardi (musician), and Donato Santeramo (professor), Luciano Volpe (developer).

What promises to be a sparkling night filled with great food and great food for thought about Culture in Toronto and the place of l’Italianita’ in it, will also end on a wonderful musical note, with performances by Daniela Nardi’s Espresso Manifesto and special guest Peppe Voltarelli from Italy.
