What Would You Do for a Vacation in the Lakes Region?

June 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Laconia, NH – The Lakes Region Tourism Association is launching a video contest that asks participants the question: “What Would You Do for a Vacation in the Lakes Region?” on June 14, 2013. Contestants are encouraged to make wacky, fun, silly, or serious videos to show what they would do to win and enjoy a vacation in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region. Video entries are easily made online, and anyone can view and vote for their favorites. The video with the most votes will win the grand prize which is a seven-day, vacation for four in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region.  To view the “What Would You Do” Video Contest informational video and to enter visit www.lakesregion.org/videocontest.

         The grand prize consists of lodging at: The Fireside Inn, Steele Hill Resort and Rockywold Deephaven Camps; attraction tickets to: Castle in the Clouds, Squam Lakes Natural Science Center and Polar Caves; and dining at: Weathervane and the Common Man. There are also two runner-up prizes: 4 Gunstock Aerial Park passes and a certificate for Patrick’s Pub & Eatery, and 4 M/S Mount Washington passes and a certificate to T-BONES Great American Eatery.   The total prize giveaway is valued at over $3500.

         Entries can be serious or funny as long as they fit the submission guidelines and are appropriate for viewers of all ages. Videos must be no longer than 2 minutes in length and must be submitted by July 28, 2013 at 11pm by someone 18 or older, though they may be created by participants of any age. Participants may submit as many videos as they want, and are encouraged to promote and share their submissions through Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. The video with the most votes will win, so it’s important for contestants to share with friends and family!
