Helping Hands Foreign Missions Invites Website Visitors To Make a Difference
GAINESVILLE, Ga. - June 13, 2013 - PRLog -- What began as a dream more than 10 years ago for the founders of Helping Hands Foreign Missions – Drs. Richard and Brenda Kowalske – is slowly taking shape as a beautiful reality on the faraway plains of Uganda. The Village of Eden is arguably Helping Hands’ most momentous human aid project to date. This sprawling 133-acre complex that once served as a blank canvas for an ambitious vision that includes a church, schools, bible college, open market, crops, barn, fish ponds, sports fields, medical clinic and – most significant – space enough to safely house 800 orphans. Today, the walls of the church are standing, construction of the first school building is finished, the first crops have been planted and harvested, and four duplexes have been completed with room enough for 16 children and two house mothers each.

In addition to great stores of faith and inspiration, non-profit organizations like Helping Hands Foreign Missions require funding from grants and generous donors in order to sustain operations and bring their vision to light. Key staff members of the Gainesville, Georgia-based ministry are often far from home working on vital missions in Uganda and Bolivia. Still, Helping Hands understands the importance of marketing in order to get their message out to potential supporters and volunteers here in the United States. To that end, the 501(c)3 organization enlisted the aid of Atlanta-based family-targeted marketing agency, Woodall Creative Group to develop compelling marketing materials and a new website that showcases the important work they are doing throughout the world.

“We are so proud to work with an organization like Helping Hands Foreign Missions,” explains Tracy Woodall, President of Woodall Creative Group. “The hope that they bring to the global community is so inspirational, it’s something that should be shared and celebrated. We believe their new website and collateral materials will help do that. Among my favorite features on the Helping Hands website – which debuted in April 2013 – are the photos and stories about the children of Uganda, many of whom could benefit greatly by a sponsorship.”

With just a click of a mouse, visitors to the Helping Hands Foreign Missions website can view the latest developments at Village of Eden, sponsor a child in need, make a secure donation online, sign up to be a short-term or long-term volunteer, and learn more about the mission, vision and people behind Helping Hands Foreign Missions. They can also connect with Helping Hands by “liking” the non-profit organization on Facebook – where Dr. Brenda Kowalske often posts updates from her stations in Uganda and Bolivia.

“We love our brochures and new website,” says Dr. Kowalske. “Woodall Creative Group is an important part of effectively communicating the overall mission and outreach of Helping Hands, as well as specifically promoting the child-focused efforts of the Village of Eden. It is our goal to have over 600 children sponsored this year alone, and our user-friendly website makes it easy for visitors to handpick a child to sponsor for as little as $25 a month. For less than $.85 a day, they could help us change a life for the better.”

About Helping Hands Foreign Missions: Established by Drs. Richard and Brenda Kowalske in 2003, Helping Hands Foreign Missions is a Christian-based organization that is committed to sharing “the love of God in practical ways-through provision of food, clean water, shelter, and medical care; education; church plants; and construction projects” the world over. Since its founding, the ministry has served in Bolivia, Mexico, Uganda, Germany, Kenya, and beyond.

Following the tragic loss of Richard to malaria in 2010, Brenda and a large network of devoted staff members and volunteers have endeavored to carry on his vision on a global scale. They are accomplishing that with the ongoing realization of The Village of Eden – a 133-acre complex in Uganda with housing enough for 800 orphans.
