Michael J. Coles, Co-Founder of Great American Cookies, Joins BLAMtastic® Board

Tween-founded consumer products company continues its growth, adding to its advisory board

ATLANTA - June 13, 2013 - PRLog -- BLAMtastic®, the rapidly-growing consumer products company in Atlanta, GA has announced the addition of Michael J. Coles to their Advisory Board, effective immediately.

Mr. Coles is well known in the Atlanta business community having co-founded Great American Cookies and is the former CEO of Caribou Coffee. Mr. Coles is an active philanthropist, contributing to numerous causes and organizations such as Georgia’s Kennesaw State University who named the Michael J. Coles School of Business in his honor.

Michael’s many years of consumer products branding experience and his leadership roles with rapidly scaling businesses will add significant value to BLAMtastic®, as the company now enters the acceleration phase.

In 2007-2008, then “tween” entrepreneurs, 10 and 9 year-old Lily and Melanie Sandler, started BLAMtastic® on a challenge by their mother, Renee. Now, years later, BLAMtastic®’s popular Made-In-the-USA, natural ingredient-based products are available online at www.blamtastic.com, www.babyblamtastic.com  and in thousands of retail outlets across the United States. Retailers include Learning Express, Baby Depot and Dunham’s.  Products are also distributed in South Korea, New Zealand and in Toys R Us stores throughout Canada.

Mr. Coles joins other recent additions to the BLAMtastic® Team such as Joyce Bone, President and Chief Marketing Officer, and advisory board member Brent Campbell.

Joyce Bone is a wife, mom and successful entrepreneur. She cofounded EarthCare, an environmental company which grew from zero to $50 million in 18 months. Once she reached this pinnacle she took the company public on NASDAQ ultimately reaching $125 million in annual revenues. Also, Ms. Bone is founder of MillionaireMoms.com, a company dedicated to helping entrepreneurial women. Joyce has been featured in MONEY, Kiplinger’s, and Millionaire Blueprints magazines, ABC news, numerous books and on CNBC’s The Squawk Box for her entrepreneurial expertise.

Mr. Campbell, is President of Marathon Global (MG) in Rogers, Arkansas, He is one of MG’s Partners and formerly served as the Chief Financial Officer.  Brent has over 25 years of experience in finance, tax, operations and administration, including career assignments in public accounting, retail, manufacturing and leadership positions in various entrepreneurial projects.  Brent worked previously for Deloitte Touche, Hudson Foods, The Phillips Company and Walmart.  Marathon Global develops and sources innovative products with high-volume potential and exceptional value from distinctive suppliers, with streamlined, cost-efficient systems for Walmart, Sam’s Club, and other leading retailers.
