June 13, 2013 - PRLog -- This collaboration will remove online barriers for those students with print disabilities and non-native speakers.

BrowseAloud provides worldwide leadership in online reading support with more than 7,000 websites and learning platforms now using the solution.   BrowseAloud is designed to make online content more accessible to the 20% of the UK population with a print disability and those who speak English as a second language.

Speaking about the collaboration, Mark Shelton, Frog’s Commerical Manager said, “Today’s students need to be stimulated by the same technology they use at home. Frog uses the latest technology trends to really engage with users so they get that same experience in the classroom.  The services we offer to schools and colleges will be directly complemented by BrowseAloud, both as an add on to their own school website and to their Virtual Learning Environment set up through FrogOS.  BrowseAloud will help open up online education to an even wider audience than ever before.”

David Robinson, General Manager, BrowseAloud added, “We are delighted to work alongside Frog to reach out to and support our students as they journey through the education system.  Every student should have equal opportunity to pursue their goals and aspirations.  Our partnership with Frog will help remove some of the barriers faced by students in today’s digital world and open up new opportunities through encouraging personal empowerment.”

Frog looks forward to embarking on this new journey with BrowseAloud and to consolidating their relationship with TextHelp.  In collaboration, both companies will continue to help revolutionise the education sector and in doing so, push the boundaries of learning far beyond the classroom to include all students, regardless of ability.
