BIG ARTS Classical Music Scholarship Applications Due October 4

BIG ARTS is now accepting applications for its Classical Music Scholarship Award. Florida H.S. and college students with goals to pursue classical musical instruments, composition and conducting may apply.

SANIBEL ISLAND, Fla. - June 13, 2013 - PRLog -- BIG ARTS is now accepting applications for its Classical Music Scholarship Award. Florida high school and college students who have professional goals to pursue classical musical instruments, including piano, composition and conducting may apply. This scholarship will be awarded to one student annually, with a cash prize of up to $5,000.

Students who play classical musical instruments including piano, violin, viola, cello, bass, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, flute, French horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba are eligible, as well as percussion students who have a focus in orchestral instruments. The purpose of this scholarship is to award highly talented students who plan to continue their classical music studies and training.

All application materials must be submitted to BIG ARTS no later than 3 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2013 to be considered for this scholarship.
