Don´t miss the great summer rock concerts in Tuscany – 2013

FLORENCE, Italy - June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Here is the series of events and festivals that you must not to miss: rock concerts such as “Musica al sole", wide-ranging exhibitions from the soul, blues, jazz rock and much more , carefully selected by the editors of Firenzemadeintuscany.
The festival and concerts of the tuscany summer 2013, are characterized by big names, characters and world-class exhibitions that represent a point of great interest to thousands of people.
The editors of firenzemadeintuscany have written a small tour guide dedicated to rock concerts not to miss and, in General, high quality music, with names like Stefano Bollani, Peppe Servillo, Elio e Le Storie Tese, Ben Harper & Charlie Musselwhite, Diana Krall, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Neil Young, Skunk Anansie, Patti Smith, Franco Battiato, Max Gazzè, Zucchero, Jovanotti and much more.
It begins with l’Estate Fiesolana ( Summer in Fiesole) on the 2nd June. The auditorium of Fiesole hosts one of the most cult progressive band of the 80´ , the Dead Can Dance. On the 19th July is the turn of Irene Grandi e Stefano Bollani, while on the 21th June await us The Beatles, White Album Niccolò Fabi/ Collettivo Angelo Mai, while the 28th June you can participate at CSI-Fantasma dell’opera. The 2th July is the time of Max Gazzè with his Tour called Sotto Casa Tour, while on the 3rd July  of  Peppe Servillo and his  band with a tribute to Adriano Celentano, entitled, “Memorie di Adriano”( Memories of Adriano).
On the 5th July you can take part at the Church of Sant'Alessandro in Fiesole,in the  show  Carmelo Bene-Lord Byron's Manfred, an extraordinary work born from the genius of Carmelo Bene, Byron and Schumann, while the Roman Theatre host  Song No. 14 theatrical concert of Lorenzo Monguzzi accompanied by Marco Paolini and his small orchestra.
On the 9th July another event not to be missed is the Orchestra of Piazza Vittoria and Ginevra di Marco, while on the 14th is the time of The Hair, the American tribal love-rock musical and  on the 15th  meeting with Director Terry Gilliam and prizegiving.

A summer characterized by musical event of high quality, between rock, jazz, blues, classical music, music theatrical works, with the most important names of the Italian theatrical and music scene today. Musical appointments continue to  Sunday, the 23th June  with Jovanotti at the stadium Artemio Franchi, with his Backup 2013 Tour, a kind of music of the famous artist resource able to involve a public trans generational.
But it´s not over here. We suggest also the Marea Festival at Fucecchio with Teatro degli Orrori, on the 27th June and Bregovic on the 28th and just at the end Elio e le Storie Tese on Saturday 29th June.
Very important  is also the Pistoia Blues, born in 1980 and a reference point for the blues and rock. The Summer 2013 has names like Ben Harper & Charlie Musselwhite on the 3th July, The Black Crowes, on the 5th July and last 7th July with  Buzz (Federico Zampaglione), Lucky Peterson, Robben Ford and Robert Cray.
Not to be outdone ist the Lucca Summer Festival, which opens on July 6th with Diana Krall, on the 8th Liftiba, 9th with Leonard Cohen, on the  10th  with Bryan Adams, on the 11th with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Mark Knoplfer on the 19th, Renzo Arbore on the 21th, Neil Young (Support Devendra Banhart) on the 25th  and Sigur Ros on the 27th  and Pino Daniele and Marcus Miller on the 30th July.
But there is also space for experimentation, for the young lovers Berlin electronics, followers of the protagonist of the film "Berlin Calling", with the arrival of Paul Kalkbrenner at Viareggio, Sunday July 7th to the Cittadella del Carnevale  to dance with every cell of your body with his new work "Guten Tag”.

In Florence, the July 16th arrive Skunk Anansie, with the promotion of the new album "Black Traffic" on the stage of the Obihall (formerly Saschall) while Sunday on the 21th  July in the charming piazza del Duomo of Siena we expect a double concert Pino Daniele and Mario Biondi.
In Chianciano Terme there is a totally free music party  from the 24th  to the 28th July. Guest star of this event, a myth of contemporary soul: Cody Chesnutt live at Fucoli Park in Chianciano on the 25th July.
In Prato, at Piazza Duomo, on 26th July, it is the time  of rock Priestess Patti Smith, a concert not to be miss that needs no introduction. The music continues, even at the end of the summer with Cuban session of Zucchero to Nelson Mandela Forum Monday, August 26th, but also with an highlight concert of Franco Battiato and Antony and the Johnsons at Teatro Verdi on August 31 and September 12, the voice of the Talking Heads, David Byrne, who will perform at the Teatro Verdi with the new Yorker new icon rock St. Vincent.
