By: Popular Press Media Group (PPMG) PPAA’s mission is to produce entertainment professionals who will define the industry in the coming decades. The PPAA aspires to be a place where thoughtful and engaging learning experiences equip students to act more boldly, with confidence and composure; to respect themselves, others, work and education; and to thoughtfully impact society. Royer, who has worked on sets with super stars such as Robert DeNiro and Ben Stiller, and has been attributed with being instrumental in the careers of mega stars Hilary Duff, Justin Timberlake, Shakira, Britney Spears, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera and Savvy, has created a program that provides practical education that reflects the demands placed on performers in the increasingly globalized and competitive environment. On June 15th, Shaun Royer will host a unique launch event to showcase the outstanding techniques developed by the PPAA by creating a one-day only performance showcase with pre-qualified youth. The prospective students will participate in a free workshop/rehearsal run by Shaun, culminating in two showcases: 4pm (family and friends) and 7pm (Red Carpet event). At the event, the Academy is showcasing a charitable project enhanced by the talent of one of PPAA’s students, Danielle Prou. Written and directed by Regan Young, Marza is a film that aims to raise awareness of the sacrifice of local children who risk their lives to protect US soldiers in conflict zones. For its theme song, Marza features Stand Up performed by Danielle. It is through exposure to such productions through PPAA Founders, faculty and patrons that PPAA students have the opportunity to graduate with a portfolio of industry experience as well as contribute their talent towards causes they are passionate about. PPAA is located in the heart of the LA Studio District at 211 North Lake St., Burbank, CA 91502.
