He is also recruiting an average of 48 new trainees a month into his culinary orientation and ServSafe certification programs. His transportation system of nine vehicles, transport their employees to non MBTA accessible locations as far West as Worcester, North as Lowell and as far South as Plymouth. “My goal is to continuously provide a healthy mix of educating and providing job opportunities for a range of skill levels, giving qualified people the tools to succeed at a number of employment positions,” said Snopkowski. “These employees help nourish the food industry, which contributes to Boston’s critical tourism and hospitality sectors.” He founded SnapChef in 2002 with over 25 years of experience in the food industry. As an entrepreneur and executive chef with world class companies such as Goldman Sachs, Aramark, Sodexho, Cisco Systems and AT & T World headquarters, he learned that creating win-win environments would be one of his key ingredients for success. He’s fondly remembered as Chef for The Olympic Village in Atlanta feeding 15,000 athletes daily with a team of 72 cooks, and his work with the New Hampshire Food Bank’s Recipe for Success Program with a city-wide effort to feed those in need. Snopkowski has shaped SnapChef over years of steady growth to over 600 employees. The company continues to have a profound effect on the lives of people in communities through job creation.
