VERC Enterprises named Employer of the Year by MA Association of People Supporting Employment First

BOSTON - June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- VERC Enterprises, a leading convenience store and Mobil/Gulf gasoline operator with locations throughout Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire is proud to announce receipt of the Employer of the Year Award from the Massachusetts Association of People Supporting Employment First.

Nominated by Cardinal Cushing Centers, VERC Enterprises was selected for the award based on the company’s commitment to diversity in its workplace as demonstrated by efforts to expand job opportunities for those with disabilities.

Leo Vercollone, President of VERC Enterprises, accepted the award at a ceremony held April 23rd at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.

The Massachusetts Association of People Supporting Employment First is the state chapter of the national APSE.  Its mission is to provide resources to individuals with disabilities to assist in accessing integrated employment opportunities.
