The Village at Dos Vientos Announces Schedule for 2013 Summer Season of Movies Under the Stars

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Newbury Park, CA – The Village at Dos Vientos Ranch will kick off its 2013 summer series of free outdoor family oriented films, on Thursday July 11 with the showing of the 2011 comedy Zookeeper starring Kevin James.

         “Movies Under the Stars” which is presented by The Acorn newspaper, takes place in the grass outdoor amphitheater of the 50,000-square-foot lifestyle center located at 350 Via Las Brisas in the master planned community of Dos Vientos Ranch in Newbury Park.  The movies are projected in 1080p high definition Blu Ray onto a 20-foot screen.  Movies begin at dusk (approximately 8:15 pm).  

Food and beverages are available from the Village merchants including Boney Mountain Coffee, La Cucina di Venti, Red Coral Sushi, The Village Trader Market and Deli and Swirl Frozen Yogurt.  Moviegoers are invited to come early and picnic on the Village grounds.

         Movies will run for seven consecutive Thursdays.  The full schedule includes:

July 25 – Wreck-it-Ralph

August 1 – Paranorman

August 8 – ET, Extra Terrestial

August 15 – Oz: The Great & Powerful
