Alex and Ani’s Charity by Design will host the Friends of Fisher House West Palm Beach Chapter

PALM BEACH, Fla. - June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- WHO: Alex and Ani’s Charity by Design will host the Friends of Fisher House West Palm Beach Chapter at Alex and Ani Palm Beach. The Charmed by Charity event, sponsored by Cha Cha’s and La Cacciatora Wines is open to the public and expects around 100 guests.

WHAT:  Alex and Ani Palm Beach hosts a Charmed by Charity event for the non-profit organization. A portion of the proceeds from sales that evening will benefit the West Palm Beach Friends of Fisher House.

About Fisher House:          
The Friends of Fisher House is a local non-profit 501 (c) (3) established in 1998 to support the various needs of the West Palm Beach VA Fisher House. The Fisher House provides a home away from home for Veterans’ families to be close to their loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease, or injury, by reducing or eliminating the cost of lodging. The West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center Fisher House is centrally located on the Medical Center Campus. A two-story building built in 1995 with eight rooms, Fisher House can accommodate up to 16 guests. It is a home-like setting with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with DVD and book libraries. All rooms offer flat screen televisions, laptops and wireless internet access. Toiletries, grocery items, snacks and small meals are provided for guests.
