Fishbowl Solutions, a Google Enterprise Partner and an Oracle WebCenter Content and Portal Specialized Partner, has announced the upcoming release of their Google Search Appliance Connector Version 3.0 for Oracle WebCenter Content. The new connector is scheduled for release at the end of June. Highlights include:

●      Completely redesigned Google Search interface within Oracle WebCenter Content to provide a Google-like search experience for WebCenter users

●      Seamless integration with GSA 7.0 functionality

●      Additional security options for improved search performance and flexibility

●      Enhanced support for GSA OneBox modules to provide real-time search results within Oracle WebCenter Content

Fishbowl’s Google Search Appliance Connector was originally released in May of 2011 and currently supports Oracle WebCenter Content (formerly UCM) versions 10g and 11g. Additional features of the Connector include:

●      Search multiple repositories from within Oracle WebCenter Content including SharePoint, file systems, portals, and public websites

●      Take advantage of GSA benefits such as market-leading result relevancy, type-ahead search suggestions, dynamic navigation, and synonyms

●      Advanced Search Reporting integration to enable Google’s Self-learning Scorer to automatically analyze user click-patterns and fine tune relevance

●      Support for Google Search Appliance software versions 6.14 and 7.0
