Apogee Communications Group Awarded GSA Schedule Contract

LARGO, Fla. - June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Government Development Center (http://gsaprocessing.com/) (GDC) is pleased to announce our newest contract award recipient, Levy, Arthur J dba Apogee Communications Group (https://www.gsaadvantage.gov/ref_text/GS07F261AA/0LQQKM.2N4K2D_GS-07F-261AA_APOGEETANDC.PDF). Apogee was awarded a GSA MAS Contract under Schedule 84 – Total Solutions for Law Enforcement, Security, Facilities Management, Fire, Rescue, Clothing, Marine Craft and Emergency/Disaster Response, one of the two Cooperative Purchasing Schedules offered through the MAS program. This contract # GS-07F-261AA (http://www.gsaelibrary.gsa.gov/ElibMain/contractorInfo.do?contractNumber=GS-07F-261AA&contractorName=LEVY%2C+ARTHUR+J&executeQuery=YES) went into effect June 1, 2013.

Apogee Communications Group produces and markets award winning health and safety patient education videos and DVDs including; Infant & Toddler Emergency First Aid- Volumes 1 & 2, Heart Disease & Women–Awareness & Treatment, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heart Disease - Prevention, Heart Disease - Detection, Heart Disease - Treatment, Pet Emergency First Aid- Dogs, Pet Emergency First Aid - Cats, Pet Emergency First Aid - Dogs Working Dogs - Pets and Emergency Preparedness – Awareness & Survival. They have submitted for award under Schedule 76 for these titles, with the exception of the Emergency Preparedness (https://www.gsaadvantage.gov/advantage/catalog/product_de...) DVD (included in the Schedule 84 award).

In addition to the educational DVDs, Apogee distributes a line of emergency preparedness products including NukAlert (https://www.gsaadvantage.gov/advantage/catalog/product_de...) radiation detectors and AquaPail (https://www.gsaadvantage.gov/advantage/s/search.do?q=0:2a...) and AquaBrick (https://www.gsaadvantage.gov/advantage/s/search.do?q=0:2aquabrick&db=0&searchType=0) water filtration systems. Because of the uniqueness and demand for these products, including pre-orders by government agencies, Apogee was eligible for fast-tracking of the submission. GDC worked closely with Apogee and the Contracting Officer throughout the submission and negotiation stages and were able to assist in a smooth transition into the Schedules program.
