Plumb Center and Parts Center release new Android apps

SALISBURY, U.K. - June 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Did you know 95% of Smartphone users search for local business details, and 89% use their phones throughout the day?

Sound familiar? Well tech-savvy Plumb Center and Parts Center customers will definitely want to check out the latest Android apps, which put a whole range of features at your fingertips.

The apps have been available for iPhones since last year, but now installers with an LG, Samsung, HTC, or any other Smartphone, which uses the Android operating system, can download the apps straight to their device from the Google Play app store.

And customers with an Android tablet can also use the free apps, meaning that it’s never been easier to run your business on the go.

Users can browse thousands of products, check prices and availability, and order them for collection from their nearest branch.

The apps also have a store locator feature, so installers always know how close they are to their nearest branch and the products they need.

“It’s handy for the team to get specs up when they’re on the job. They can get the prices of the products there and then, and confirm it with the clients just by showing them the phone.

“The branch locator is also a great feature. Quite often we do jobs in locations we’re not familiar with, but just by tapping our phones we can find the nearest branch and that’s a big help.”
