YGallery Salon NYC presents Oral Fixation: A Journey through the senses

NEW YORK - June 11, 2013 - PRLog -- June 13th, 2013

SoHo, NY – YGallery Salon is proud to present “Oral Fixation: A journey
through the senses”, a solo showing of my works, ranging from drawings &
paintings in mixed media exploring all that is our mouth. Oral Fixation is
a collection of work expressing oral power and function; all we say, eat,
kiss, taste. I have been fascinated by the human mouth & have been
developing this collection for past few months and am eager to share it. I
look forward to your attendance & hope you enjoy the show.

About Giannina Gutierrez:
Giannina Gutierrez is an artist based in NYC, working out of East Harlem. She is of Colombian origin, raised in Jamaica, Queens, NY. Self taught at an early age, Giannina went on to study in various arts programs, is a member of The Art Students League of New York & majored in Fine Art at Pratt Institute. In 2004, she started painting lives at various nightclubs, charity events in addition to hosting a monthly ongoing live art & music event in East Harlem. Giannina has also gone on to curate art exhibits, is currently working on her second show. She currently also works with high school students in both schools & privately in art instruction & developing portfolios.
