ATLANTA - June 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA, June 7, 2013 — In an effort to inspire future generations of artists and creative talents, non-profit organization drawchange, Inc. has partnered with the Phipps Plaza Brighton Collectables store (3500 Peachtree Road) to empower the local communities and create art with visiting children and their families on June 15 and June 29, at 12 p.m., and July 23, at 8 p.m.

Drawchange staff, led by Founder/CEO Jennie Lobato, will assist the children in a variety of fun art projects, while parents are welcome to purchase and decorate Brighton’s Americana I.D. Bracelets or Independence Charm Holder Bracelets—for every bracelet sold, a full 50 percent will go to local arts programs for children. A mention of “drawchange” at purchase, from now until July 31, 2013, brings credit back to the non-profit. “Supporting your child’s creative development while shopping for a good cause is a win-win,” says Lobato. “At the in-store events, drawchange will provide fun and simple age-appropriate art projects for the childrens’ enjoyment.”

At drawchange’s invitation, participants in the Phipps Plaza Brighton store events will include children from a local homeless shelter, who receive continued support and aid through the generosity of caring sponsors, volunteers, and community advocates.

You may also purchase your bracelet for a cause via telephone: 404-848-1032.

Founded in early 2009, drawchange creates empowering art programs and curriculum to serve the children of Altanta, GA. Drawchange and Brighton, two companies committed to empowering families through the support of charities, hope to raise over $1 million for children’s arts programs across America.
