White Plains, NY [June 11 2013] – Debra Petrucci, M.D, a board certified neurosurgeon specializing in spine surgery, has contracted with POMCO to accept their insurance plans.

Debra A. Petrucci, MD joined the POMCO Group provider network, effective April 1, 2013.

Dr. Petrucci is an attending neurosurgeon at White Plains Hospital in White Plains, NY, where she has close to twenty years of experience with complex spine surgery. Dr. Petrucci uses minimally invasive procedures where possible and is also experienced with procedures for carpal tunnel.  She previously served for six years as Chief of Neurosurgery at White Plains Hospital.

Dr. Petrucci received her MD from the George Washington Medical School in Washington, DC and completed residency in General Surgery and Neurosurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, where she was the first woman to complete neurosurgical residency training.Prior to earning her MD degree, she received a bachelors degree at Harvard University.

Dr. Petrucci is board certified by the American Board of Neurologic Surgery and is licensed in Connecticut and New York.
